SK 27 : Blog Entry 7

Good time my dear friends

How have you been??? Its been a long time…And now..Have some news for you!!

And I’m sure you were waiting for some)))) As you can see to my tournament schedule we added Fes, in Morocco,it will be my first time going there,so I am really looking forward to see new things…

I also just made a final decision to play this elimination for my  country of Fed Cup It will be held in Moscow on 21-22 of April. It is a bit difficult decision for me as I have to go straight and play next day in Fes, But I always look forward to playing for my country. Also sad that I’ll miss my mom’s birthday it’s on the 19th of april, but I will celebrate with her soon.

I also wanted to announce officially that we stopped working with Olga Morozova, but I can’t describe how much I appreciate her effort and  positive energy as well as what she has given me!!!!! I want to congratulate her.  A few days ago she became a  grandmother!!!should be an amazing feeling! I still have some time   until I can fee the same feeling haha! )))))kidding I started to work  with Amos Mansdorf, big fans of tennis for sure heard of him as he was  a very good tennis player!

Now we are in Barcelona, preparing for clay court season, with Amos, Allistair Maccaw(fittnes) and Roman Kislyanskiy(not sure how to spell  it in english hahahah) he is my hitting pratner, Then we will be moving to Moscow for the Fed Cup!

I hope you all have been healthy and happy! Best wishes))))Hugs)
Yours Svetlana

  1. Sounds like a lot of fresh new things happening in your camp, Cвeтa. And you know what they say: “a change is as good as a holiday”. So I hope this will also help you feel rejuvenated on and off the court as you get ready for RG next month. Can’t wait for your clay season to start!

And, just for the record, I think you’d make a pretty awesome grandma. I did some thinking (frightening myself in the process) and I’ve concluded that by the time either of us become grandparents, humans will live to be 150, we’ll have microchips implanted into our brains, and drive flying hovercars. (I’m gettng a red one. With flame decals. And a sunroof. Sweet.)

And we’ll get to do all the cool things that old folks do: pull our pants up really high, shout at the people on the radio, colour our hair blue, drive REALLY slowly, shake our fists at the sky, reminisce about how amazing Lionel Messi used to be, unzip our pants at the dinner table, hit teenagers with our walking sticks, gamble on everything that moves (from horses to greyhounds to lotto to bingo!), and we’ll complain………a LOT. But mostly about young people.

Yep. Looking forward to it ;-)
